WAIAU PA PONY CLUB

2012 cAMP

7 ^th January – 30^th January

 I have had some enquiries about the camp,  

for the new members it is our Pony Club Camp that is running it,

it is being held at the property of Tasman Horse Rides the people of Tasman Horse rides will be running an activity for us.

You can hire a horse for a trek but will need to contact

www.tasmanhorserides.co.nz to organise.

As a group we are organising it, it is for your children so if you have any good ideas please come forward.

It is my first year as secretary and I am finding my feet in what I have to do, if you feel I am not doing something I should be doing then please let me know.

The dates are from Friday the 27^thJan until Monday 30^th Jan which is a public holiday, I will be heading up on the Friday morning.

We will have a program of activities for the children for the weekend, and 5km down the road is the hot pools at Paikari so don’t forget your togs if you wish to swim. That may be on the Sat so we could get takeaways for tea that night but that is to be confirmed.

The bunk rooms contain 18 beds, it is a matter of first come first served so if you let me know I will keep a list of people for the bunk rooms.

If you can let me know that you are coming and get the forms back to me or bring them on the day with the payment.

per pony is $10 a night

for Bunk house which has 18 beds over 3 rooms is $20 per night

If camping it is $10 per night

Go to Parakai Pools in the Sat afternoon then takeaways for dinner – bring your togs !

Parents are welcome to bring their own horses to ride or there is the opportunity to hire a horse from Tasman Horse rides to go on a trek.
